I even grabbed a Lupo 58, and whether one prefers a mild or aggressive razor, a lot of the mannerisms are the same. From memory, I believe all of the Lupos have more blade exposure for any given gap compared to their Gamechanger counterparts. This razor is built from marine grade 312L stainless steel. This is not to demean the Game Changer, for it is a fine razor, just that I think the Henson is better. It is a very high tech razor, for sure, and looks it. Someone said, after seeing it, that even sitting still it looked like it was going 200mph. Lupo "nostril notches" and additional blade support are subtle improvements over the gamechanger at the expense of aesthetics, so I'd choose between the two lines based on geometry instead of these considerations. Welcome to Robin Hood Shaving Artisans In this video I unboxed my New RazoRock. It is a better razor in every way, for me. The Open Comb is surprisingly smooth on face and the scalloped solid bar is happily daily driving with 2 passes. Both versions immediately felt like old friends in comparison to the GC, regardless of the blade or how clumsy the operator was that day. My ideal razor would actually be a touch lighter, but a GC with a stock stainless Razorock handle is balanced, well-built, and looks nice/classic IMO. No complaints about the build quality or appearance. The open comb might have been better, but hindsight says it is probably a better razor for someone with a more rounded/full face. 84 is very good, and would be a solid, single-option shaver. It can meet the GC on its own terms, and go above or below, with fairly minimal investment. During blade loading, you have to place the blade on base plate. It doesnt feel that heavy though, probably due to the fact the handle is fat, and I am expecting more weight but as it is Ti, it doesnt weigh as much. I find this particular Timeless razor handle to be just right in feel for me on this razor. Karve offers more versatility, if you want to experiment with more or less aggressive feel. In my scale, the razor with this Russian Ti handle weighs 102 grams. ![]() I'm no genius but just couldn't figure this razor out! I really like the weight the looks and the balance of the Timeless Razors polished titanium handle on my. ![]() The Gamechanger's solid bar bounced all over my stubble while still managing to squeegee most of the soap off, and despite the positive blade exposure it seemed to offer little blade feel, resulting in irritated skin and a shave that was not particularly close. But I've recently found about that timeless razor offers a 0.68 version in titanium. 68 gives me a very mild/efficient/smooth shaving. I don't feel any irritation with it and I found that the geometry/gap of. You can learn how to work tight areas with most razors and lots of people seem to love how the Rockwell shaves. 68 So far I've had the opportunity to try the Razorock Game Changer 0.68-P and it's my best safety razor. Never tried the Rockwell due to bulky head and price point, although there is honestly nothing wrong with a well-built chrome razor. ![]() It was difficult to get a close, comfortable shave with the Gamechanger. Click to expand.Apparently we are in the minority, but I agree on the GC84-P.
